Position Description

Starting at: $15.00/hour, or commensurate with supervisory ability/experience

Hours of Employment:
• 4 days per week, from Monday through Thursday, 6:30am to 5:00pm.
• Working hours lost due to weather conditions will be made up on Fridays.
• Expected work between 40 and 50 hours per week, depending on position.
• Overtime (1.5 x base) wages will be paid for time worked more than 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:
• Landscape installation including planting, mulching, hardscaping.
• Irrigation installation including repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting.
• Landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, blowing & vacuuming.
• Operating powered equipment including mowers, skid-steers, small-engine equipment.
• Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner in accordance with company and departmental policies and procedures and ensure others are doing so.
• This job includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities as noted above. The essential functions of this job may be supplemented by Landscaping Director or Supervisor.

Required Experience/Abilities:
• Must possess a valid drivers license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Excellent ability to prioritize objectives to effectively achieve goals .
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in work area.
• Can perform heavy manual work for an extended period in all weather conditions.
• Can carry 50 pounds for a distance of 50 feet.
• Can understand and follow oral and written instructions given in English.

Uniforms:
• The Company will provide you with T-shirts, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Employee must provide all trousers or short-pants, rain gear, shoes appropriate for the work duties.
• Employee must present a positive professional appearance at all times.
